About Us

Transparency and Integrity

We are a Christian company and as such integrity is extremely important to us at iRock Audio.  The following statements are not just words, they are our commitment.

We want to build a strong enduring relationship together with customers and suppliers that can last a lifetime. To achieve this we believe we need to meet these standards:

  • Transparent - Be open and honest about our interactions with customers and suppliers
  • Professional - Be trustworthy, keep to our word, acknowledge mistakes
  • Respectful - We will treat you with equity, be non-discriminatory, be polite, treating you as we want to be treated
  • Ethical - Be fair in all our dealings, maintain our moral standards, pay suppliers within their set time limit

We strive to meet high standards in the service we deliver but if for any reason we are unable to we will let you know. Sometimes mistakes happen, and if you would be so kind to inform us so we can deal with it positively we would appreciate it. If there is something we can do to improve our services please do let us know.

Giving

One of our priorities in life is to have a positive impact on the lives of others, and this filters through into our business practice. A percentage of our profits will go to charities. In particular, we are focussing on partnering with charities that specifically help and support families that have a child undergoing cancer treatment. If you purchase from us you will be partnering with us in having a positive impact on peoples lives.

Experience, Passion, Circumstance

David recalls, "in the 80's I vividly remember listening to the music of that era as my Dad played records on his turntable. It was a Pioneer integrated stack system. I also remember on one occasion wanting to have a listen by myself and turn up the volume to some Tom Petty when nobody was home, and oops, off went the styli! Not an uncommon occurrence with children, unfortunately. For the record (no pun intended) I have since replaced it with a new turntable and cartridge."

Incredibly records have stood the test of time, well I'm not sure if it is vinyl records or it is people and their love of music that has stood the test of time. Music is incredibly subjective and experiential. Music and our connection with it are organic, it seems to have a life of its own. We often connect music with moments in our lives, with people, experiences, and culture. I know that as I have aged my appreciation of all types of music has deepened.

Interestingly, people are now starting to discard their CDs in favour of streaming. We have heard streaming versus CD on relatively high-end equipment and we can tell you there is a difference. Slight though it may be, when you listen to a song being streamed and the same song (and recording) on cd, it is as if a slight filter has been removed.  Well, we enjoy it all, records, CD's, and streaming, and we love movies too, we have a genuine love for this business. You could say this business is a collaboration of experience, circumstance, and passion.

Made in the UK

All of the iRock Audio products are made here in the UK. We do not import anything and not one product material we use has its origins in the far east. We want to see the UK economy grow and to do this, we need to invest in UK products and UK companies. Please consider partnering with us to grow the UK economy.
